Ben Sampson founded his first company in high school, selling organic athletic apparel throughout California. Soon after Ben founded his second company, Soul id, focused on developing social media solutions for athletes and was ranked as one of the fastest-growing brands in the sports industry by NBC. Ben was selected as a member of the Thiel Summit as one of the top entrepreneurs under the age of 20. With Soul id Ben went on to win the North State Future Four Business Competition and was a recipient of the Rawlins award, CSU Chico Entrepreneurship Leader award, and was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year by Innovate North State. In 2019, Ben started, WeHero. WeHero gives companies the solutions to accomplish their social mission through powerful giving and volunteer programs to create a better culture, a better brand, and a greater social impact.

He is an active angel investor and startup advisor, as well as serving on numerous public and private Boards of Directors.

Jeff holds an MBA from Harvard University and an MS & BS from Cornell University. He also formerly served as an officer in the Auxiliary Unit of the New York Police Department. Jeff is the author of The Birthday Rules and The End of Jobs: The Rise of On-Demand Workers and Agile Corporations. He is also a Producer of the Tony Award Winning Best Musical A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Slava’s Snowshow, and the full-length feature Inez & Doug & Kira which has won best picture at various film festivals. Jeff is a regular writer in Huffington Post and Forbes and speaks widely at conferences and on television on startups and labor issues.
